The agreement regarding the government shutdown, as well as an increase in the debt limit, have been this week’s main events. However, both the conditions established by the Congress and consequences of the most recent fiscal quarrels, have made the scenario of extending the QE beyond December more likely. The zloty has been strengthening for most of the week. However, the Polish currency gave back a portion of its gains on Friday.
