The long unseen sell-off of petroleum is great news for the domestic economy. However, why hasn’t the 50% fall in petrol prices penetrated down to the drivers?
Cost of material
The news regarding petroleum prices going lower and lower and it's catastrophical influence on the Russian economy and the rouble are evident on a daily basis. It is, however, worth taking a look at the situation in the domestic economy. Interestingly enough, the value of 'black gold', the lowest in years, has had little impact on petrol station prices.
