Members of the Pogon team accepted a challenge from Cinkciarz.pl. If they can showcase their extraordinary football skills, they can win a special bonus for their fans at their match against Legia Warsaw on Sunday.
Pogon is the fourth team in the top Polish league, Ekstraklasa (after Ruch Chorzow, Zaglebie Lubin and Cracovia), to be involved in the online #CinkciarzChallenge contest. The rules are as follows: five players will be performing one football task each for five consecutive days, gaining points for their successes. If they earn at least 150 points, Cinkciarz.pl will guarantee entertaining competitions for fans who visit the fan zone located in front of the Florian Krygier stadium on May 7 in Szczecin.
This is the current #CinkciarzChallenge team rank:
- Ruch Chorzow - 179 points
- Cracovia - 173 points
- Zaglebie Lubin - 162 points
How will Pogon stack up against the competition?
The team from Szczecin will be represented by Jaroslaw Fojut, who tried to kick the football at maximum speed in the first episode of the series. Soon, Kamil Drygas, Hubert Matynia, Adam Fraczczak and Dawid Kort will compete for their fan’s entertainment. Kort approaches the task with some extra motivation. His challenge (an obstacle course) was performed by a friend of his, Ruch Chorzow’s Jakub Arak. Kort said that he will do everything he can to beat his colleague’s score. Will he rise to the occasion? Fans will learn soon enough. The videos presenting these challenges will be published today until Saturday on the Pogon Szczecin Facebook page.
Adding to the excitement, Wisla Plock and Jagiellonia Bialystok have declared that they will accept the challenge as well.
