Austrians pay most often through EPS, while in Belgium, the leader of the online payment market is Bancontact cards. In different parts of the world users of Apple devices often use Apple Pay. "Payers' preferences in different countries are influenced by their personal feelings and historical conditions, i.e. where a given payment method was available from the beginning of online transactions and how strongly it has managed to establish itself on the market. In Poland, for example, people usually avoid online card payments. In contrast, in the USA, cards are the basis, and transfers are just a margin," explains Andrzej Arendt.
The wide range of fintech's payment methods is also connected with the fact that not all of them are available in countries where services offered by Conotoxia are provided. Moreover, not all of them " cooperate" with different currencies. It is enough to mention that BLIK or quick money transfer (Pay-By-Link) can only be used to pay in the Polish zloty (PLN).
