Cinkciarz.pl overtook such big enterprises as Polkomtel, Asseco and GetIn Noble. But there's more: soon the currency exchange company will offer money orders and payments all over the world.
The rank was published by the Polish weekly magazine 'wSieci' ('InNetwork'). It was created in cooperation with the business intelligence company Bisnode. The main criterion was the total income. The company used the data from 2013, as there is still no information from last year.
The first place was given to the Polish Retail Chain Lewiatan (income: PLN 8.110 billion). Pelion (former Polish Pharmaceutical Group) came second (income: PLN 7.302 billion), and Cinkciarz.pl was awarded third place with an income to the same sumt: PLN 7.302 billion. This is the only online currency exchange company among the high ranking companies. To achieve success, most of the start-ups are supported by foreign investors. This is the easy way. Us, we chose our own path. We are a 100 percent Polish company and we have achieved great success, which would be difficult to repeat, if at all possible - said Kamil Sahaj, Cinkciarz.pl's Marketing Manager.
The weekly magazine described a private company, with the domestic capital as, 'a company, whose majority of shares belong to Polish capital (Polish entrepreneurs) or a domestic listed company (listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange) with dispersed capital, which main shareholders are its Polish founder / founders (or their successors) and the Polish pension funds (OFE).
