The blockages of our company accounts by order of the prosecutor's office have made it difficult for customers to carry out transactions and have caused financial losses for Cinkciarz.pl, a company within Conotoxia Holding. The company is taking legal action and recommends that complaints be filed with the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority (KNF) and the prosecutor's office, which are to blame for the situation.
Cinkciarz.pl always complies with the applicable law and works in the interest of its customers. Banks freezing funds at the prosecutor's office's request does not result from our actions but from the decisions of state authorities that prevent customers from executing their contracts. In such a situation, we expect users to settle their liabilities because they ordered and accepted the transactions.
In this case, the Holding owners suffered tremendous financial losses – the blockage of accounts and funds made it impossible to execute transactions, causing enormous damage to both the company and its customers. Users are now forced to exchange currencies at much higher rates in banks and other institutions than at the attractive rates Conotoxia has accustomed them to for over 14 years of operation. Therefore, we encourage customers to file complaints with the KNF and the prosecutor's office about actions that block the possibility of making payments and finalising transactions on our web portal.
After filing a complaint with the prosecutor's office in Poznan, the company was informed that the case concerning the blockade of company accounts had been referred to the court in Zielona Gora. Therefore, we are preparing a position that will be presented in court proceedings. At the same time, we are drafting a motion to the public prosecutor's office to change the security measures, arguing that the current measures are disproportionate and lead to the destabilisation of operations and a violation of customers' interests.
